This Disclaimer applies to the Screenify website, documentation, marketing material and platform, supplied by Caresoft Systems Private Limited. Read it with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Advertising & Content Policy. Where this and the Terms of Use address the same subject, the Terms of Use prevail.
SCREENIFY IS NOT AN EMERGENCY OR LIFE-SAFETY SYSTEM.
It has no certification for that purpose and is not engineered to that standard. Fire alarms, evacuation instructions, code announcements and public address remain the hospital's own certified systems, which must be maintained and relied upon independently. A television network depends on power, network and third-party device firmware, any of which can fail silently.

1. General information only
Content on our website, blog, documentation, datasheets and proposals is general information about Screenify. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate, but make no representation as to its completeness, currency or suitability for your circumstances. Features and pricing may change without notice. Screenshots, mock screen layouts and sample data are illustrative.
2. Life safety and emergencies
Screenify displays scheduled content over a network. It is not a fire alarm, evacuation system, emergency notification system, public address system, nurse call system, or any component of a life-safety chain, and must never be positioned or relied upon as one.
Where an emergency-message or override feature is offered, it is a supplementary convenience only. It depends on network availability and screen state, may be delayed, may reach some screens and not others, and may not display at all. It creates no duty on Caresoft to warn anyone of anything.
Screens must not be positioned where they obstruct exit signage, fire equipment or emergency routes.
3. Not medical advice
Health education shown through Screenify is general awareness information. It is not medical advice, is not tailored to any individual, and must not be used for self-diagnosis, self-treatment, or any decision about a person's care.
Anyone with a health concern should consult a qualified medical practitioner. Nothing on a screen replaces a consultation, and no viewer should delay seeking care because of something displayed.
The hospital is responsible for the clinical accuracy of educational content it uploads or approves, and should have it reviewed by an appropriate clinician. Where Caresoft supplies a content library, it is a convenience only, offered without warranty as to clinical accuracy or currency, and remains subject to the hospital's approval and review.
4. Advertising content
Advertising displayed through Screenify is the responsibility of the advertiser and of the hospital that approved it. Caresoft does not author it, does not verify the claims made in it, and does not provide legal clearance for it.
All advertising must comply with the requirements in Terms of Use §7 and the Advertising & Content Policy — including India's restrictions on advertising medicines and remedies to the public. Screening applied by Caresoft is a commercial and reputational check, not legal certification, and it does not relieve the advertiser or the hospital of responsibility.
Complaints about an advertisement should be made to the hospital displaying it, or to [email protected] or our Grievance Officer.
5. No endorsement
An advertisement on a hospital screen is not a recommendation by that hospital, by its doctors, or by Caresoft. The presence of a product, service or brand on a Screenify display does not imply that it has been clinically evaluated, approved, recommended or endorsed by anyone.
Advertising zones are visually distinct from clinical, queue and educational content for exactly this reason. Viewers should treat advertising in a hospital the same way they would treat advertising anywhere else.
6. Queue and appointment information
Queue, token and appointment information is supplied by the hospital's own systems. Its accuracy, completeness and timeliness are the hospital's responsibility. Screenify displays what it receives.
Display may lag, become stale, or stop updating because of network interruption, integration failure, device state or data supplied late. Patients and visitors should confirm their turn with hospital staff and should not rely solely on a screen. Caresoft is not liable for a missed appointment, a lost turn, or any consequence of information displayed incorrectly or not at all.
7. Playback is not viewership
Proof-of-play records evidence that content was rendered on a particular screen at a particular time. They say nothing about whether anyone was present or watching.
Screenify uses no cameras, face detection, footfall sensors or mobile tracking, and therefore holds no audience data. Any impression, reach or footfall figure quoted anywhere is derived from the hospital's own footfall estimates or third-party assumptions — it is an estimate, not a measurement, and Caresoft does not warrant it.
8. Advertising revenue projections
Any estimate of advertising revenue, inventory value, fill rate, yield or payback period is illustrative. It depends on your footfall, location, catchment, screen placement, category restrictions you impose, local advertiser demand, and prevailing market rates.
Caresoft gives no guarantee, warranty or minimum commitment as to advertising revenue unless a minimum guarantee is expressly stated in your Order. Demand for inventory is not within our control.
9. Screens, hardware and network
Unless your Order says otherwise, screens, mounts, players, cabling, power and network are supplied, owned and maintained by the hospital. Display quality, brightness, burn-in, panel lifespan, firmware behaviour and physical safety are functions of that hardware, not of the Platform.
A screen that is switched off, unplugged, disconnected, or whose firmware has updated in a way that breaks the application will not display content, and may not report that it is failing. Utilisation reporting helps detect this but cannot guarantee detection.
10. Integration with other systems
Where Screenify integrates with a system not supplied by Caresoft, integration depends on that vendor's interface, documentation and cooperation. Their refusal, inability or delay is outside our control. Upgrades or reconfiguration without the notice required by the Terms of Use may cause incorrect or stale display; remediation is chargeable.
11. Third-party content and services
Where a hospital schedules third-party content — a news feed, a weather service, a video platform, a live channel — availability, accuracy and licensing of that content are matters for that provider and for the hospital's licence with it. Caresoft does not verify third-party content and is not responsible for it appearing, failing to appear, or containing anything objectionable.
12. Performance figures and business cases
Any figures regarding waiting-room experience, patient satisfaction, perceived wait time, footfall, advertising yield, staff time saved or return on investment — in marketing material, a proposal or a calculator — are illustrative estimates dependent on your own circumstances. They are not commitments and are not relied upon by either party in entering into any agreement.
13. Testimonials and forward-looking statements
Testimonials, case studies and customer references reflect particular experiences at particular times and do not guarantee comparable results. Statements about planned features, integrations, screen types or advertiser networks are forward-looking and may change or be withdrawn. Do not purchase in reliance on functionality not yet available; if something is material to your decision, record it as a condition in your Order.
14. Security representations
We maintain the measures described in the Privacy Policy and DPA, but no system is completely secure. We do not warrant that the Platform will be free from vulnerabilities, unauthorised access or attack. Physical security of screens and players, network security, and user access hygiene are the hospital's responsibility.
Certifications referenced on our site are held by Caresoft Systems Private Limited within a defined scope. They are stated for information and are not a warranty as to any particular deployment.
15. Links and trademarks
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement or affiliation. Names, logos and marks of advertisers, device manufacturers, content providers and other software vendors are the property of their owners and are used for identification and interoperability only. Their appearance does not imply partnership, sponsorship, endorsement or certification unless expressly stated in writing.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TERMS OF USE AND THE SLA, THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED DISPLAY, THAT ANY ITEM WILL PLAY AT ANY GIVEN TIME OR ON ANY GIVEN SCREEN, THAT ANY PERSON WILL SEE IT, THAT QUEUE INFORMATION WILL BE CURRENT, OR THAT ANY ADVERTISING REVENUE WILL ARISE.
17. Limitation of liability
OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED AS SET OUT IN TERMS OF USE §22, INCLUDING THE EXCLUSION OF INDIRECT AND CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS AND LOSS OF ANTICIPATED ADVERTISING INCOME, AND THE CAP AT FEES PAID IN THE PRECEDING [TWELVE (12)] MONTHS.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR: THE CONTENT OF ANY ADVERTISEMENT OR OF ANY CONTENT APPROVED BY THE HOSPITAL; ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON THE PLATFORM AS AN EMERGENCY OR LIFE-SAFETY SYSTEM; ANY CONSEQUENCE OF A HOSPITAL'S DECISION TO DISPLAY PATIENT IDENTIFIERS; ANY LOSS ARISING FROM INCORRECT OR STALE QUEUE INFORMATION; OR ANY LOSS OF ADVERTISING REVENUE.
18. Governing law
Governed by the laws of India and subject to the dispute resolution provisions in Terms of Use §26. The Platform is operated from India.
