Local support

Caresoft has been doing hospital software in India for over twenty years

Screenify is built by the same team as Caresoft HIS, already running in more than a thousand hospitals. Support is in Indian hours, in Indian languages, from Mira Road East, Thane, Maharashtra, India.

What is hospital display management software?

Hospital display management software controls what every TV in a hospital shows — OPD token numbers, patient education, facility videos and promotions — from one central console, on a schedule, with reports on whether each screen actually ran.

It replaces the pen-drive-per-TV habit. Screens are registered once, grouped by area, and then fed by playlists that run to a schedule. Because every screen reports back, management can see which TV ran what, and for how long.

Can the TV show live OPD token numbers?

Yes. Screenify pulls live token and counter data from Caresoft HIS (or any HIS with an API) every few seconds and renders it in a token zone alongside the running content, so patients see their number without losing the education content.

The token zone is a layout choice per screen: full-screen token board, token strip with content beside it, or a ticker. Patient names can be masked to first name plus initial.

Do we need special hardware for each TV?

No. Any smart TV with a browser, or a low-cost Android TV box or mini PC, can run the player in fullscreen. The screen is paired once with a 6-digit code and then runs on its own.

Where TVs are old, a sub-3,000 rupee Android stick is enough. Nothing is installed on the hospital LAN beyond outbound HTTPS.

How do we know a screen was actually running?

Every player sends a heartbeat and logs each item it plays. That produces per-screen uptime, playing time versus idle time, downtime windows and media play counts — auto-mailed to management daily, weekly or monthly.

Reports are also downloadable as CSV, and can be scoped to a location or screen group.

Can different floors show different content?

Yes. Screens are grouped by location, block or department, and each group gets its own playlist and time window. Priority rules decide what wins when two schedules overlap, and an emergency broadcast overrides everything instantly.

Typical setup: OPD shows token plus education, IPD lounge shows facilities and visiting hours, pharmacy shows generic-medicine awareness.
